Larry Dysert will
be presenting the topic "An Introduction to Parametric
Estimating" at the 2008 AACE Annual Meeting and ICEC World Congress
being held in Toronto, Canada from June 29 to July 2, 2008.
Larry Dysert will
also co-present "Escalation Estimation: Lessons Learned in Addressing
Market Demand" with John Hollmann of Validation Estimating.

Cost Engineering) have developed a 3-day training course on Total Cost
Management (TCM), which includes coverage of TCM, cost engineering, cost
estimating, and project cost control.

Conquest
Consulting Group and Validation Estimating LLC announced the formation
of the Center for Cost Engineering (C4CE) at AACE's 2007 Annual
Meeting in Nashville. C4CE is an alliance initiative of the two consulting
firms to specialize in assisting owner firms in the process industries
develop their cost engineering/cost estimating competencies and
capabilities. C4CE was established to improve the quality and depth of
cost engineering services that could be made available to owner companies.
